Call Answering
Prepay and renewals: every missed call going to the next company on the list
Prepay and renewals are where call answering profit hides, and they are almost always run badly — because every missed call going to the next company on the list.
The timing is the whole game. Renewal offers that arrive before the season starts get taken. The same offer in the first busy week gets ignored, because you are too busy to send it properly and they are too busy to read it.
Prepay is worth a real discount. Money up front funds materials and payroll before revenue arrives, and a prepaid customer almost never churns mid-season.
It has to be systematic. A renewal campaign that goes out because someone remembered is a campaign that goes out late every other year.
This is the clearest example of office work that pays for itself: done on time it funds the season, done late it is just admin.
