Getting through the first warm week without hiring office staff

the first warm week arrives on roughly the same week every year, and it always feels like an emergency because the office cannot stretch.

The trucks can. You can put another technician on and run more treatments. What cannot stretch is the one person answering, scheduling, quoting and invoicing.

Which means the ceiling on your season is not capacity in the field, it is capacity at the desk — and the desk is where the growth actually gets throttled.

Hiring for a season does not work either. By the time someone is trained, the peak has passed.

The alternative is an office that scales without a hire: calls answered however many arrive, routes rebuilt however often the weather changes, invoices going out regardless of how the week went.
