Why same-day estimates win pest control customers

In pest control, the company that quotes first usually wins, and it is not close.

The homeowner asked two or three companies in the same afternoon. The one that comes back same-day looks organised; the one that comes back in three days looks like they did not want it.

Speed is not about hustle, it is about not needing a second visit. If you can measure the property from the map and price it by property size with a formula you already trust, the estimate can go out while you are still on another job.

The follow-up matters as much. Most quotes are not lost, they are forgotten — by the customer. Two short nudges recover a surprising number of them.

The reason it does not happen is that estimates compete with everything else in your evening. When someone else writes them, they go out the same day, every day.
